amuta [a-moo-tah] - noun: amuta is the Hebrew word for “non-profit,” or “NGO.”

Amuta 2.0 is a new group dedicated to providing Non-Profit organizations with the social media, marketing and networking tools they need to expand their on and offline presence, increase memberships, and enhance fundraising.

Amuta 2.0 aims to become a high quality resource for non-profits seeking to enhance their marketing with new and social media internet strategies. Amuta20.com will be a constantly updated resource, and the organization will offer workshops, seminars and conferences on marketing, resource development, pitching donors, online marketing, etc.

Founders

Miriam Schwab is the CEO of illuminea marketing & media (www.illuminea.com), a firm dedicated to helping companies and organizations create effective web presences through the use of blogs and social media. illuminea is privileged to serve clients that include some of Israel’s large corporations, innovative startups, and inspiring non-profits. Miriam is considered an expert in Israel in the area of social media marketing, and has been invited to speak on the topic at numerous events and forums.

Miriam also serves on the steering committee for Digital Eve Israel, an active non-profit forum for professional women in Israel (www.digitaleveisrael.com).
